LOCOMOTION SEA ANGLING CLUBCLUB ACTIVITIES |

As usual, Barry had arranged for engraving of the large trophies (held for one year) and the small ones for the winners to keep.

Thank you again gentlemen and we hope that whatever intersts you persue in the future, you have plenty of rewarding fun.
These take place on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 pm.
**** Until further notice they will be held in The North Briton public house in Aycliffe Village. ****
All are welcome at the meetings. The business part of each meeting is usually over quite quickly and there is plenty of opportunity to talk tactics, tell of those caught (or those that got away) and socialise.
New or potential members are made very welcome and given all the information they need to get started. If new/potential members don't have the gear needed, loans can easily be arranged to get them out on their first boat trip. See the membership page for more details.
Throughout the Summer season (May to October) boat trips are made approximately every 3-4 weeks. The trips are split, approximately equally, between wrecking and rough ground. During the rest of the year monthly trips are arranged.
Trips only proceed if the skipper and boatman deem the conditions safe and suitable - safety is of prime importance.
The competitive spirit is keen and friendly rivalry is the order of the day, yet everyone from the least experienced upwards is encouraged and helped to do their best.
Members of the Committee are elected at this meeting and any important issues, which are likely to affect the Club during the coming year, are discussed. The subscription rate for the year beginning 1st April is decided.

From time to time the Club obtains a supply of tackle. This is made available for purchase at Club meetings (or contact the Secretary).
